I was sitting right here, at a park in JP Boston when a kid riding a pink scooter, wearing a thick-lensed glasses, approached me and asked: "Can I try that e-bike?" Finding another fans of wheels, of course I said yes. His name is Michael, and this soundbox archive is for him.
A brave boy, he approached everyone that walks around- I guess I’m not that special.
I asked him “are you out of school?” and he said, “homeschool”- this one word answered not just the question, but it also explained his slight Germanic accent. It brought me to the time when I was in school, when my own accent brought everyone to the question “Where are you from?”, which I always respond with “Guess.”
